GRACE Art

This unique art enrichment program is jointly presented by the Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE) and the Terraset PTA. Each month GRACE Art Docents (all parent volunteers) introduce our students to artists, art concepts and art history through a short presentation and a project that supports that month's topic.

The Docents, who do not necessarily have an arts background, are supported by a wealth of materials provided by GRACE. The students excitedly anticipate GRACE Art time - and enthusiastically share their knowledge of artists and techniques. Often samples of GRACE Art projects are displayed in Reston area businesses.
